What does Resolution mean?
The number of pixels per square inch on a computer-generated display; the greater the resolution, the better the picture

How can you use the crop tool in photo Retouching?
You can resize image, cut unwanted parts of image with crop tool, or cut at some specific proportions you need for purpose of image.

How can you adjust the tonal range of an image?
You can use the black, white, and gray triangles below the Levels command histogram to control the midpoint and where the darkest and lightest points in the image begin, thus extending its tonal range.

What is saturation? How can you adjust it ?
Saturation is the strength, or purity, of color in an image. You can use the Sponge tool to increase the saturation in a specific area of an image.

Why would you use the Unsharp Mack filter on a photo?
The Unsharp Mask filter adjusts the contrast of the edge detail and creates the illusion of a more focused image.

What are the three main components of Photoshop's workspace?
Menus, Toolbox and palettes.

Which menu is used to open and close (or show and hide) palettes?
Window menu.

What keyboard shortcut is used to hide/show all palettes at the same time?
Press the Tab key.

Why is it important to remember and use keyboard shortcuts in Photoshop?
